Elisabeth Frisk

Elisabeth Frisk, PhD, is a senior lecturer at School of Business, Economics and Law and Head of the Centre for Business Solutions/Management Accounting. Her doctoral thesis concerned investments in IT solutions and design thinking played a major role. "Evaluating as Designing - Towards a Balanced IT Investment Approach" (2011). She has elaborated further on this and the result is a published article "Design Matters for decision makers: Discovering IT Investment Alternatives", written together with Rikard Lindgren and Lars Matthiasen, published in European Journal of Information Systems, in 2014.

Her recent research areas are Business Intelligence; evaluation IT investments and designing; transforming decision making through design thinking; Management Control and Sustainability.

She is together with Lisbeth Svengren Holm, BDL, and Iréne Stewart Claesson, Lots Design, developing a new research Project: Design as a resource for strategic decision-making.
